During shipbuilding, vertical butt welds on hull plates are welded in the dock process.

Currently, the High Efficiency Graft Welding (EGW) method is the standard for vertical welding; however, equipment capable of welding without rails is required to eliminate the hassle of installing rails.

This equipment performs EGW welding by having guide rollers track the groove without rails. It contributes not only to the stabilization and improvement of welding quality but also to the reduction of labor intensity.
